ENTRY: Donation (suggested $5).
I thought it would be fun to have a little Indo movie fundraiser at home...a few friends are getting together $5 donation entry (some bevvies/snacks provided) to watch this 2006 film I love you, Om...Based on a true story, this film is part drama, part comic relief, part sinetron...a typical Indonesian film! (It runs for about 1 hour, 40 mins)
With English subtitles and good sound for those with an ear for Jakarta slang, it should be an entertaining afternoon. If you're a fellow Indonesianist or just like sitting on the couch watching foreign films and would like to come along, shoot me an email at erin.bromfield@gmail.com
