JULY REPORT

FUNDRAISING: $1178 clear MOOD: Frantic optomism

Well, apart from selling chocolates, keeping tabs on fudge and donations, planning a movie night :), having to postpone a movie day:( and thanking Mum repeatedly for organising a quiz night with her buddy Lisa in Perth, I've been planning to move house (next week) and tried my best to make it to the gym often, so it's been a busy, cold month!

I'm well into my second order of chocolates now (profits from this not included in the above total), which is great.

Donations have kept coming which is really encouraging. Thanks guys.

Unfortunately the Indo movie do was postponed - but not cancelled! - due to my impending move. Hoping to reschedule it to September if there's an afternoon people won't be watching football.

The Sicko movie night plans are coming along well, picked up tickets and starting to get some numbers (thanks to Tom and my Tassie-Melbourne friends for helping out there too!), hoping to get a good crowd there, with cheap drinks beforehand and $5 from each ticket going to my total. Saw the preview the other day and it looks like a good dose of typical Michael Moore.

Mum and her pal Lisa are having a quiz night soon (Lisa spends some time working with a children's charity in Thailand), and profits will be split between the two causes. It's 31 August at the Mandurah Senior Citz Centre, I'll post the full flyer up here in the coming days. Looks like it'll be a good night.

Well that's about it for now (don't want to bombard people with too many events at once so I've kept it to a few!!). I must admit the chocolates have taken their toll and it's with a heavy tummy that I head back to Fitness First tomorrow!
